This workshop covers how to set up and use studio lighting equipment, to light and capture beautiful portraits with the minimum of fuss or effort.

The days workshop is entirely practical and it is intended to cover the following:

  • Choosing the correct equipment – studio lights, flash meter, backgrounds and other accessories.
  • Lighting techniques for shadow free results.
  • Choosing the appropriate exposure mode.
  • Using a flash meter for correct exposure.
  • White balance setting and use of a grey card.
  • How to pose your model.
  • Batch processing / adjusting your images for final output.

Full instruction with notes  / lighting diagrams provided.

A model and make-up artist will be present on the day

Duration of workshop 11.00am  - 4.00pm with 1hr for lunch

Light refreshments in the form of tea / coffee included
